Rutherford County Market Update August 19, 2024
Coming to you from the world headquarters of the Turner Victory Team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, this is your August 19th 2024 Rutherford County housing market update. Hi I am John Turner of the Turner Victory Team at Onward Real Estate. Here is your weekly market update for Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Laverne, and the metropolis of Eagleville.
This past week we saw 105 new listing hit the market. There were 111 pending home sales this week which is down slightly from this time last year. There were 96 homes closed in Rutherford County this week. Our inventory levels have remained consistent this week as we have 1,144 homes on the market and 2.38 months supply of inventory, which means we remain in a soft sellers market.
We did see some improvement in the $800,000 price range and the over $1,000,000 price range as both of those had higher than usual number of pending and closed sales.
